Day 01- New Delhi:
Welcome in India. Evening sound and light show at Red Fort.
Day 02 -New Delhi: Daylong sightseeing of Old Delhi (Shahajahanabad) and
Lutyen's Delhi (New Delhi). Evening free to shop around busy Connaught Place.
Day 03 - Jaipur:
Drive to Jaipur with lunch at Neemrana Fort Palace on the way. Evening walk
in the Pink City to shop in its colorful bazaars.
Day 04 -Jaipur: Day sightseeing of the City Palace Complex and Amber
Fort. Visit to a farmhouse for local Rajasthani dinner.
Day 05 - Jaipur:
Morning walking tour of some interesting streets and squares of the Pink City
to catch glimpses of the habitual patterns of its people which even includes
attending heart-rending prayers at Sri Govind Devji temple. Optional day tour
to Sanganer town (for block printing factories) or a lunch at Samode Palace.

Day 06 - Agra: Visit the well-preserved capital of Akbar - Fatehpur
Sikri - on the way. At Agra visit the incomparable Taj Mahal and Agra Fort
Day 07 - Gwalior:
Board the morning train to Gwalior. Visit Tansen's tomb, Jai Vilas Palace and
the immense Gwalior fort. Sound and light show in the evening at Man Mandir
Palace of the fort is highly recommended.
Day 08 -Orchha: Drive to Shivpuri National Park for its dense deciduous
forest and wildlife. Further drive towards Jhansi and reach Orchha - a virgin
historical site picturesquely located by the banks of Betwa River. The place
with its beautiful palaces and thematic chambers is still almost untouristic.
Day 09 -Orchha:
Visit the Fort, Raj Mahal palace, Raj Praveen Mahal Palace, Jehangir palace
and the Royal Chhattries (cenotaphs). Also visit Raja Ram temple - the only
place where Lord Rama is worshipped as a king.
Day 10 -Bhopal:
Move to Jhansi station and board the train to Bhopal. Rest of the day to be
used to visit the impressive Bharat Bhawan and Birla temple.
Day 11 -Bhopal:
Day excursion to Sanchi (Buddhist Stupa), Vidisha (Ancient trading town now
deserted) and Udaigiri caves (remnants of rich art of Gupta period).
OR
Day excursion to Bhojpur (for impressive Shiva temple) and Bhimbhetka (for pre-historic
paintings).
Day 12 -Mandu:
Take the flight to Indore and on arrival transfer to your hotel in Mandu. Remaining
day at leisure.
Day 13 - Mandu:
Visit Mandu - a place of historic monuments made legendary in the love story
of Rani Roopmati and Baz Bahadur. A romantically inspiring place to visit.
Day14 - Mandu:
Excursion to Maheshwar - a flourishing ancient holy city picturesquely located
on the banks of Narmada river. Visit a number of Ghats and watch interesting
rituals being performed. Also visit the palace of Rani Ahilya Bai Holkar of
Indore. Back to hotel by the evening.
Day15 - Bombay:
In the morning transfer to Indore airport for the flight to Bombay. Visit notable
attractions of the city which includes Dhobi Ghat, Crawford market, Marine drive
and old mansions of Colaba area.
Day16 - Departure:
Day free for self-exploring till the time of departure. Transfer to airport
for departure flight.
