Destination: Delhi - Agra - Jaipur - Delhi
Day 01 – Arrive Delhi:
You will be received by our company representative, who will take you to your
hotel for Check In.
Overnight in Delhi.
Day 02 – Delhi:
Morning tour of Delhi visiting Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana - the cremation sites
of Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru, Jama Masjid and drive past Red Fort
and Chandni Chowk, the buzzing narrow by lanes & Old Delhi charm. Later visit
to Qutab Minar built by Qutub-ud-Din Aibek in 1199, Humayun's Tomb, India
Gate (War Memorial Arch ), Lakshminarayan Temple - a modern Hindu Temple.
Also drive past President's House, Parliament House, Government Secretariat
Buildings and Connaught Place shopping centre. Return to hotel in the evening
& enjoy dinner at the hotel.
Overnight in Delhi.
Day 03 - Drive Delhi / Agra:
After breakfast, travel by road to Agra covering a distance of 220 kms (04
hrs). Check in at Hotel. Afternoon visit the world famous Taj Mahal built
by the Moghul Emperor Shahjehan in 1630 for his Queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine
her mortal remains. Later visit the Agra Fort containing the Pearl Mosque,
the Halls of Public and Private Audience. Also visit the Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daullah
built by Empress Noorjehan in memory of her father. Later enjoy some free
time exploring the city on your own.
Overnight in Agra.
Day 04 - Drive Agra / Jaipur:
After breakfast, travel by road to Jaipur covering a distance of 250 kms (05
hrs) en route visiting Fatehpur Sikri. Fatehpur Sikri is 40 kms from Agra
and built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and abandoned after 15 years due to scarcity
of water. See the graceful buildings including the Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim
Chisti, Panch Mahal and other Palaces.
In the afternoon, drive ahead to reach Jaipur, Check in at hotel & enjoy the
evening relaxing. Later you will be taken to Chowki Dhani, India’s 5* Ethnic
Village where you will enjoy an evening of cultural programs, puppet shows,
magic shows & camel cart rides in true Rajasthani style. Return to hotel.
Overnight in Jaipur.
Day 05 - In Jaipur:
After breakfast, Morning visit Amber Fort. Amber Fort was the ancient capital
of the State, where you enjoy a ride up the fort on elephant backs. Later
visit the Sheesh Mahal or the Hall of Victory glittering with mirrors.
In the afternoon, take the tour of Jaipur. Jaipur - the capital of Rajasthan
was given a colour coat of pink a century ago in honour of a visiting Prince
and ever since, it has retained this colour. Built by Maharaja Jai Singh,
the notable astronomer, this city is 260 years old. Visit Maharaja's City
Palace, the Observatory & Ram Niwas Gardens. Drive past Hawa Mahal & through
the pink rose residential & business areas. Later return to hotel & enjoy
the evening on your own.
Overnight in Jaipur.
Day 06 - Drive Jaipur / Delhi Airport:
Leisurely travel by road to Delhi International airport covering a distance
of 250 kms (05 hrs) in time to connect your departure flight.
